Summary

Pathe synopsis: We’re watching the finale of a West End musical, "Robert and Elizabeth", and we see the star who is an actor and a singer show us what a painter he is by spending the interval, before the evening show, pastel-sketching the glamorous Sarah Badel as we hear the songs of the show. We see the star, Australian Keith Michell, in the evening performance, meeting his co-star, June Bronhill, in their first stage meeting as she scatters her pills in consternation as he grapples for them...
