Summary
Pathe synopsis: ...a snail of the land? Ask Mr Penny of Wells, Somerset, who collects them as a delicacy to eat, just as they do in France. We go with him through the Cheddar Gorge in Mendip Hill country, where the limestone makes them grow succulent, and we come with him to the Miner’s Arms on the hills where the Romans had their lead mines.
