Summary
Pathe synopsis: It’s an eerie scene. Just like a lunar landscape. Yet Pic’s journey into space has come as far as Cornwall, where the vast China-clay pits are man-made and robot-controlled. Powerful hoses explode the clay from the rock-face and send it cascading down the quarry. Then the rivers of clay become the lifelines of many industries.
