Summary
Pathe synopsis: ... where there is another tradition which says if the Gibraltar apes die out, Britain will lose its famous Rock. We visit this garrison town - by ‘plane, too, and we see the catchment that gave them the rainwater that they need to keep alive. We visit Main Street, which really is Utopia. We explore Gibraltar’s history, and holiday beaches, her surprising gardens and her astonishing villages. And, finally, the frontier. We leave this bastion-base as a row brews up between our English-style "bobby" and the Spanish frontier policemen. Long live those Gibraltar apes and the Tower ravens that keep potential wars like this from brewing up and turning us off the famous Rock!
