- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: A carpet of wood shavings. Strange almost mediaeval tools. This is a craftsman’s workshop which makes a mockery of 20th-century mass production. Deep in the Sussex hills, the Smith family have been making trugs for over a century. Trugs, those boat-shaped baskets which won praise from Queen Victoria, are still produced with the methods of 100 years ago.
