Summary
Pathe synopsis: We are at the pyramids - the ornate pyramids of Mexico, as ancient as the relics of Egypt but uncrumbled, still wearing their original finery. Here is a country of contrasts - skyscrapers and siestas, the vast mozaics of University City, on the one hand, and the primitive colour of a local rodeo. The boisterous crowds of the bull ring and the easy peace of Acapulco, the holiday paradise where the sunset is only a minor attraction, such is the long list of joys that are there for you. Whether we’re spear-fishing in crystal waters or taking things easy where a motorised bar brings drinks to your table, whether you’re watching high-flying Aztecs evoke ancient days with a circus act on a hundred-foot pole, or looking at the lush trees round your swimming pool, you are having the happiest of holiday whirls.
