- Commentary: A blistered foot fills the screen. A city gentleman’s foot that has stumped fifty-two miles from London to Brighton to answer a challenge to show they haven’t gone to seed. We see the drama and the comedy of seven hundred people making a 20 hour marathon walk. These are the cool, unflappable gents with bowlers and umbrellas who shave themselves as they walk, then have "one for the road" served to them at cocktail time from a car. Peers and parliamentarians, lovely girls, and men who borrow pogo sticks all take part in this gruelling but spontaneously hilarious walk, which ends with a contestant striding into a chilly sea.
