- Commentary: Another grand transformation scene - we start in a scene of roaring furnaces and corrugated iron - a Cinderella’s kitchen in a big London glass-blowing works. Every fifteen weeks they have to replace the pot in which they heat the molten glass - and they break down its wall and rebuild it round the new pot with the furnaces at full blast. The heat really punches you in the face and the whole operation is carried out like a smash-and-grab raid.
