Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Indian War Effort. DESCRIPTION: The manpower of India is being harnessed to the war effort. Steel production as been increased and so are munitions. SHOTLIST: Map of the Indian Empire. Shots of a procession of decorated elephants and of marching troops and sailors. Shots of inside a cotton factory where Indian types are at work. Steel factories are hard at work and so are rubber tyre plants. Lorries are seen lined by and Indians are seen building a corvette. The story ends with scenic shots of the Himalayas.
