- Pathe synopsis: Gosport’s naval dockyard has plenty to fascinate. Prime attraction, though, is Europe’s only escape tower - a means of training submariners to escape from their stricken craft. The tower is 100 ft deep and contains 750 tons of water, so who can blame new trainees for feeling all at sea.
