MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Yanks Are Here!. DESCRIPTION: Some of the first American troops to arrive in Britain land in Northern Ireland. SHOTLIST: The transports pull in and the men disembark in full kit. The men eat on the quay. One has a dog. Later material shows the troops being welcomed by Sir A Sinclair, John M Andrews, (Ulster Premier), Sir Louis Greig and the Duke of Abercorn. Americans specially photographed were Major General Hartle, and Major General James E Chaney. This later material was never used.
