- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Churchill Flies Home. DESCRIPTION: Mr Churchill returned from America in a Flying Boat which landed at Plymouth. On the stage to Bermuda, where he made a stop over, the Premier took a turn at the controls. There was a great crush on Paddington Station when Mrs Churchill tried to greet her husband. SHOTLIST: Shots aboard the plane in which Mr Churchill and Sir D Pound both handle the controls under the guidance of Captain Kelly-Rogers. Mr Churchill goes ashore at Bermuda. He arrives by train at Paddington and large crowds await him including his wife, Eden and Beaverbrook. They drive away and a library close-up of Mr Churchill rounds off the story.
