Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eden Visits Russia. DESCRIPTION: The weather being too bad for flying, when Mr Eden reached Russia he travelled by train. He was welcomed in Moscow by Mr Molotov. On his return to England he spoke about his trip. SHOTLIST: Snow is falling when Eden arrives by train at Moscow Station. He is met by Molotov, Maisky and Cripps. On returning home the Foreign Secretary repeats his radio talk. Also scenes of Eden visiting the battlefield and seeing German corpses and smashed tanks. These were used to illustrate the talk.
