- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: A new type of life-saving equipment, which is incorporated in everyday clothing, can, if necessary, keep a man afloat for weeks. The secret lies in a panel of special cotton fabric which traps a pocket of air only when it is wet. When dry, it permits air to circulate freely. It is designed to replace the usually bulky and uncomfortable life-jacket. [filmed at the Royal Festival Hall Pier on the South Bank of the Thames in London]
