Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Desert Paratroops. DESCRIPTION: Paratroops have been training in the Western Desert, they leap from railway trucks and moving lorries to practice their landings. Movietone’s cameraman made a jump with them to capture on camera a whole jump. SHOTLIST: The men train by jumping off a tower, off railway trucks and moving lorries (slow motion). General Auchinleck inspects the men before they get into Bombay troops carriers and take off. Aerial scenes as they jump. One shots shows the Paramount cameraman who jumps with the men with his camera running.
