Summary
Pathe synopsis: A new way of decreasing the annual toll of people drowned while on holiday, is demonstrated at Herne Bay, in Kent, by Colonel HJ Taplin, whose hobby is making radio-controlled boats. One of his models, a five-foot launch powered by a 34 cc engine, is seen towing an inflatable raft to the victim, who clambers aboard and is rushed back to safety - without risk to would-be rescuers.
