Summary
Pathe synopsis: Ballet may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but we defy you to be unmoved by the dancing of this group of youngsters - the under-five class of a school run by Miss Violet Ballantine. They may not be up to Covent Garden standard, but they take their ballet seriously. And, if you see a dancer who looks vaguely familiar it may be a family resemblance; for Moira Lister, Jack Hawkins and Donald Sinden all have a son or daughter here - and judging by the expert way the hula-hula is done, they have inherited at least some of their parents’ talent.
