Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Senator Foll in Malaya. DESCRIPTION: Newspaper editors from Australia have been touring Malaya, together with Australia’s Minister of Information. SHOTLIST: Senator Foll, Australian ex-minister of Information, arrives by plane at Singapore with newspaper editors. The senator goes up country in a Bren Carrier. Australian troops exercise over a young rubber plantation. In Singapore a record sized troop convoy arrives. On the docks to welcome the men are Air Marshal Brooke Popham and General Bennett who commands the AIF in those parts. It is raining heavily.
