Summary
Pathe synopsis: From England’s green and pleasant land - for a few weeks of the year anyway - we visit places which enjoy a fine climate practically the whole year round. First to Cadenabbia on the shores of Lake Como, ideal for the conventional "swimming and sunbathing" holiday; then on to Venice for a glimpse of some of the famous sights of the city: the basilica of St Mark’s, the graceful Campanile, the pigeons of St Mark’s Square, the canals, the gondolas and, of course, the gondoliers.
