- Summary
- Pathe synopsis: Although the process was first invented hundreds of years ago, copper plate printing is still used for the reproduction of famous paintings and other fine art. The picture to be reproduced is engraved on a copper-coated steel plate and the success of the method depends on the skill of the printer who must also be an artist - men like George Hardcastle, for example, who has been a copper plate printer for fifty years.
