- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soviet Spirit Unbreakable. DESCRIPTION: The people of Leningrad display an indestructible spirit in holding out against the Germans. The Soviet partisans harass and kill the enemy. SHOTLIST: Scenes In Leningrad where, under the statue of Lenin, speakers address the crowds. Guerrilla bands are organised behind the Nazi lines and they study maps before setting out - both men and women. At an aerodrome, bombers take off. We go aloft in a dive-bomber and watch the bombs leave the plane and scream to earth onto German lines of communication. Interior shots in the plane with hand on the lever.
