MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Smallest Soldier. DESCRIPTION: Private Russell, of the Pioneer Corps, is Britain’s smallest soldier at only four feet two inches. SHOTLIST: The bantam battalion of the Pioneer Corps parade and among them is Private Russell who is only 4’2" in height. The men are inspected by Lt Colonel H Greenwood, VC, DSO, MC.
