Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mr Churchill Visits Bomber Command. DESCRIPTION: Sir Charles Portal and Sir Dudley Pound accompanied Mr Churchill when he visited at station of Bomber Command. There were many aircraft on viewing, including the Boeing B17, commonly called the ‘Flying Fortress’. SHOTLIST: Sir Charles Portal and Sir Dudley Pound accompany the Premier when he tours the station. He sees a "Queen Bee" radio controlled seaplane and a Boeing B17 bomber, better known as the "Flying Fortress". The story ends with an excellent shot of the premier "surveying the scene" which should be remembered for future use. "Stick through arms".
