MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Home Guard Take Over at Palace. DESCRIPTION: To mark the birthday of the Home Guard a unit mounts guard at Buckingham Palace. SHOTLIST: To mark the anniversary of their foundation, the Home Guard take over the Palace guard from the Scots Guards. Various shots of the ceremony which was watched by General Nation (HG).
