Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Amir of Transjordan Made Air Commodore. DESCRIPTION: In a ceremony at Amman the Amir Abdullah receives the rank of Air Commodore in the RAF. SHOTLIST: Amir Abdullah (Brother of the late Feisal of Iraq) and partner in arms of TE Lawrence) is made air commodore, the RAF. A group captain and the ruler exchange messages of welcome and a pennant is presented to the Amir. The flag of Transjordan (which looks like the Union Jack) flies above the tent. Then there is a march past, a drive past of armoured units and a fly past of Lysanders.
