MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: President Roosevelt Addresses Congress. DESCRIPTION: The President addressed Congress and promises aid to Britain. SHOTLIST: President Roosevelt addresses the 77th Congress, and asks them for money to arm the democracies who are fighting the Dictators. Pledging ever increasing aid, he defies the Dictators and says he will support the democracies. He informs us the he will send us ships, planes, tanks, guns etc.
