Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: With the Coastal Command: the Australian Flying Boat Squadron. DESCRIPTION: At a British Coastal Station crews of an Australian Flying Boat Squadron report for operation orders. We fly with them on a patrol in their huge Sunderland Flying Boat, along some of Britain’s Atlantic coastline. SHOTLIST: The pilots receive their instructions and the huge Sunderland Flying Boats are prepared for the flight. The take off and a Movietone cameraman goes on patrol with the airmen. Every ship is carefully inspected including a submarine and a freighter. Destroyers also inspect the sub. which proves to be British. Various shots of the interior of the plane and the crew. (These will probably come in very useful at some time or other). They land and the pilot reports while the crew tell their palls all about it.
