Summary
By 1967 [sic], it’s possible there’ll be a rail-tunnel link between Britain and France. No definite decision is likely to be taken for at least two years but, if it does come about the £300 million under-sea route would make the Continent only 35 minutes away. Pathe News looks at the many attempts made and methods which have been used in recent years to conquer the narrow strip of water which separates Us from Them.
