- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Stoke Newington Shelters. DESCRIPTION: Street shelters for families are now being equipped with bunks. Buildings whose top storeys have been damaged are now being re-roofed to withstand incendiary bombs. SHOTLIST: Various scenes in a demonstration "cut-away" shelter. These shelters are of the surface type and for family use. Another idea is the reinforced bungalow type which are constructed from the bottom floors of houses which have been damaged. Included in this story are shots of the newly installed bunks in use.
