Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: War in the Far East. DESCRIPTION: The Japanese push into Northern Indo-China to gain a strategic point to bomb the Burma Road. Meanwhile they continue to bomb Chungking. SHOTLIST: Japanese troops march forward into North Indo-China. Casualties are cleared. Various shots of French Colonial troops which have been captured. Jap warships steam into Haiping [sic]. A French boat takes officials to the discussion. Various scenes of the parley. Aerial shots of the bombing on Chungking. The planes fly in formation and the bombs rain downwards, specks showing the explosions as they hit the ground.
