Summary

HM The Queen accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh opens the new eight million pounds super-bridge spanning the River Severn between England and Wales. This magnificent British engineering achievement, a mile long, is the seventh longest bridge in the world and will do so much to speed the passage of trade between the two countries.
