MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scenes in Belgium. DESCRIPTION: French soldiers move up to the border areas, the mechanised troops travelling swiftly. SHOTLIST: French tanks and lorries of soldiers move through the towns. Refugees leave in pitiful stream. A small boy gives a cigarette to a soldier. The townsfolk read notices which announce that French troops are racing to their aid. Shots of all types of military equipment, motor-cyclists tanks and artillery. French Town Bombarded - CARD 38972 Various shots of the devastation to houses and other buildings. Nearby is the wreckage of a German plane.
