- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sydney Show, 1940. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Agricultural Show in Sydney. SHOTLIST: Lord Wakehurst arrives by car and is greeted by Mr Menzies, Mr Mair and Sir Samuel Hordern. Then the parade of horses, cattle and other livestock. Various shots of produce. An RAF man describes a modern Australian plane and bombs are on show. A girl spins a rope and rides a horse madly. There is also the timber-topping, cross cut sawing and horse high jump. Slow motion of this including one shot where the rider recovers after water jump.
