Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Anzacs at Suez. DESCRIPTION: The Second Imperial Australian Force reaches the Middle East. The Secretary of State for the Dominions, Mr Anthony Eden, was there to greet them. SHOTLIST: The convoy of liners arrives and Mr Anthony Eden goes aboard with Sir Miles Lampson and is greeted by General Freyberg commanding the NZEF. Speeches are made (silent) and the local inhabitants dance to the music of the pipes played by the Australians. The Australians go to their desert camps.
