Summary
Pathe News cameramen visit North and South - Blackpool and Brighton - and compare the holiday fare offered at the two resorts. Meanshile, Holdiaymakers in Japan indulge in the 300 year old sport of kite flying. An American water-skier also turns to kites: towed by a speedboat, he’s soon airborne! Back ot London, where 48 US newsboys take part in "Operation Friendship", a 14 day holiday tour of the UK. Then to Hyde Park, where london’s holidaymakers see the Queen review 10,000 police from all over the country. Later, at Buckingham Palace, Her Majesty holds the first garden party of the year in the perfect "English garden" setting of the Palace grounds.
