- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: BEF in France - Shipment 4. DESCRIPTION: The Commander-in-Chief visits a Scottish Regiment and sees their hard work in trenching. SHOTLIST: Lord Gort confers with his army commanders, Lieutenant General Sir John Dill and Lieutenant General Brooke. The C-in-C then pays a visit to a Scots Regiment. He watches trenches being dug and afterwards the Scots prepare wire entanglements while a piper encourages them. Also in this subject are shots of armoured cars moving up which were not used in GR but were very good (Can 4865).
