Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: With the Dover Patrol. DESCRIPTION: The destroyers patrol the Channel protecting the ships crossing to France from the German U-Boat menace. SHOTLIST: The destroyers leave Dover. The boom defences are left astern and the ship passes various neutral ships awaiting inspection. Among them is the "Westerland". On board depth charges, guns and torpedoes are checked up. Another destroyer passes at speed to take over the patrol. Captain Simson is in charge.
