The relaxation the Royal Air Force take on the French airmen in a game of football. SHOTLIST: Lord Gort is on a visit of inspection and with him is Major General, the Duke of Windsor. The commanders pose and with Lord Gort is General Gamelin. Thirty ton tanks and heavy artillery are moved up to the lines. Members of the British Force carry out Bayonet drill (wearing gas masks). Mortar platoons are in action worked by soldiers wearing camouflaged helmets. A bren gun is mounted ready to deal with low flying aircraft and soldiers armed with anti-tank rifles rush to positions at the edge of a field of root crops. Bren Carrier crews practise and, on a station, drill is carried out. In the mess, food is prepared and afterwards a football match is played between men from the RAF and men from the French Air Force. As the game goes on planes fly over. A Scottish soldier puts coins in a slot machine. A Colour Sergeant checks up on a kit inspection and examines the soldiers’ feet.
