- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Floods in the Midlands. DESCRIPTION: Severe flooding causes much damage and loss of livestock. SHOTLIST: Water rushes down through streets and past houses where the occupants are marooned in the upper rooms. Farms are flooded out and many livestock have been killed. Hamersham Bridge has been washed away and water lies on the fields like a blanket while overhead a train passes over a viaduct.
