Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Kiddies Beauty Contest. DESCRIPTION: Kiddies Beauty Contest in Southend. SHOTLIST: During Southend’s joy week, a parade is held of all the handsome youngsters in the town, and they pass before the judges to compete for the Toddlers’ Championship. The winner is introduced to the Carnival Queen, though not with great success. After the show, Movietone attempts to find some new cameramen, and certainly finds a first rate commentator (for a change).
