- Summary
- The Government’s new National Health Service Bill plans to control the health of every man, woman and child in Britain. Opposition to state control of doctors is led by the British Medical Association. Expressing this point of view we have sound interview between Dr Charles Hill and Dr Guy Dain, Chairman of the BMA. The Government’s attitude is explained by Dr Haden Guest, Labour MP and leading medical authority in the House of Commons. Speeches are back-grounded with scenes of Harley Street, hospitals, nurses, mass radiography, children’s’ treatment etc.
