Summary
Filmed by permission of the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, Sir Harold Scott, KCB, KBE and with the assistance of Detective-Superintendant L Rundle, Detective-Inspector CC Owen of New Scotland Yard. Through each department of the Hendon School for Detectives, Pathe cameramen record the newest scientific methods at work in the fight to break the crime wave. Among the departments visited are those dealing with forgery, finger-printing, burglary, self-defence, identification parades, ballistics and infra-red and ultra-violet photography. A murder sequence, with realistic dummy victim, shows the police in action and methods used to track down the criminal. (Nat Sound) (Exclusive)
