Summary
November 11th. The Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph, Whitehall. The King and Princess Elizabeth and members of the Royal Family attend the ceremony which, halted by six years of war, has returned to commemorate the dead of two wars. During the Silence Pathe’s pictorial record of this reverent moment picturises the "Eleventh Hour" as it was observed in Manchester, Glasgow and at Arnhem (Oosterbeck). Story closes on Festival of Remembrance (British Legion) in Albert Hall.
