Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Henley Regatta. DESCRIPTION: American rowers carry off many of the titles of Finals Day at Henley. SHOTLIST: Elevated river shot. The Duke of Kent is there, as are Lord and Lady Baldwin. Rain falls but the races are run just the same. The Grand Challenge Cup (won by Harvard), the Diamond Sculls (Burke wins from Verey), the Centenary Double Sculls (Beresford and Southwood dead heat with an Italian team) and the Thames Cup (won by Tabor Academy, who jump into the water from joy).
