Summary
Aerial shot of Aachen and Cologne during the heavy raids by RAF bombers. British troops advance into the cathedral city of Hertogenbosch on the south west of Holland. Captured Germans with wounded. North of Antwerp British troops and tanks in yet another thrust, this time the Scheldt estuary is the prize. Among amphibious craft seen crossing the Scheldt are the Alligator, the Weasel and an IVT 4. Bombers of the Second Tactical Air Force over Roermond completely destroy a large road bridge over the River Maas. Crossing canal in assault boats at Tilburg, British troops are greeted by Dutch civilians who rush to greet their liberators.
