- Summary
- The City Hall of Louvain where 4 years ago Montgomery left a brown pullover and has now had it returned to him by Belgian monks. The town of Luxembourg greets Prince Felix as he returns after the city has been liberated. Nazi flag is burnt in the streets. Street fighting between British troops and Germans in Le Havre. A suicide squad of 9,000 Germans was left to fight it out but in the end German soldiers and sailors give themselves up realising that further resistance is futile.
