Summary
As the allies race towards Paris, the FFI receive their instructions to rise against the Nazis in their city. Men, women and children all play their part in building barricades, making road-blocks, anything they can do to harass the enemy. Street fighting takes place and the Red Cross are as usual in the thick of it tending the wounded. In front of the Notre Dame the Nazis have established strong points from which to fire. As more of the capital falls into French hands, prisoners are taken, both German and collaborators. Fires are seen burning behind the Grand Palace in the Champs Elysees.
