Summary

Old screen actor Arthur White is seen at home then his film is shown called "Life of a Fireman" which was made 50 years ago. Max Linder’s "Flypaper Comedy". "Coronation of Edward VII" in 1902. Gay nineties fashions. Early bathing beauty parade. Lillian Russell in her dressing room. Tennis match of the early ‘90s showing players in long dresses and using small racquets. Last part and knock down of Tommy Burns who kos Bill Squires in world heavyweight fight - one of the first ever filmed. Unveiling of Victoria Memorial 1911. Horseless carriage being started and shakily pulling away. Montage of audiences consisting of forces around the world who gather to be entertained by stars of the silver screen.
