Summary

Major-General Brereton who commands the Tactical Invasion Air Force seated at desk tells of the responsibilities of the 9th Air Force. He says "Together with the RAF we shall be the spearhead of the coming invasion" and goes on to say that this is not a new task to the 9th, for they closely supported the 8th Army in its drive from El Alamein to Cape Bon. He finishes his speech by saying he is confident they have the strength and determination to strike the final knock-out blow. Following this speech comes pictures of Marauders of the 9th Air Force preparing for take-off, taking off and in flight over France and Holland where they attack German concentrations. The planes then return to base where they are refuelled and the crew have a quick meal while the ground crew bomb-up ready for the next raid in the afternoon. This time the Marauders head out for Holland for a raid on a German airfield.
