Summary
Queue of people at bus stop. Bus arrives and some get on including ‘George’ our character, but others are left behind. George gets off at next stop and goes into public house. The people he left behind were war workers and he stops and thinks about the fact that he is a bus hog. Our character now walks short journeys.
